Hello my wonderful readers!
You will notice I have a newsletter icon on the side bar of this blog.
I love blogging – a lot! However I find that because I need to update often and because of the busy schedule I and every one else in our society is on, blog posts need to be in fairly bite sized pieces. This means my passion for essays and deep study must get pushed to the wayside.
Shallow rather than deep. Broad brush strokes rather than deep analysis.
While I love this life we live that can be summed up in bumper stickers, I also believe in the power of going deep. Of asking complex questions and searching hard for answers. The thrill of pushing your mind beyond consensual cultural perspectives. To use one form of art to interpret another. Thinking that moves beyond what we would call and assume to be “common sense” or “logical.”

For this reason I am putting together a newsletter.
It will have an essay, interviews with artists on specific topics and up to date reviews. My intention is to keep everything in the newsletter off the blog. I want to reward those who sign up, with something a little more special.
Compiling my lists of interviews is taking some time, so I don’t have an announcement yet for my first one, but it will be soon.
